It is quite chilly today…in the single digits and the weather begs for snuggling under a blanket and near a fire.  With that in mind, I created this Etsy treasury featuring handcrafted goods from other shop owners at Etsy:

Okay, so I’m a sucker for January 1st.  As ridiculous as it sounds, I can’t shake the notion that you can start with a clean slate with the New Year (though I know that anything can change starting with the day you make a decision).  But even though I say I shouldn’t, I can’t help but make New Year’s resolutions.  Though I can say that this year most of my resolutions are related to my business and not personal, so I think of it as productive goal setting!

Anyway, with New Year Resolutions on the mind, I created this treasury…enjoy the wonderful inspirational prompts:

Thanks for clicking the link to take a look and supporting these artists and the handmade movement!

In case you were wondering, my business New Year’s Resolutions are:

1. actively seek out wholesale accounts in niche/boutique shops in my local area
2. start doing craft/art fairs, especially my favorite Paris Street Market outside of Denver
3. get rid of/sell off any destash from my older shops that are no longer open
4. finish up left over craft projects and utilize all the supplies I’ve purchased over the year with a particular project in mind
5. Only buy supplies I absolutely need to run my shops and pay off my business CC (which has accumulated because of poor purchasing decisions related to #3 and #4!)

Do you have any resolutions for the New Year?  Feel like sharing? ;)

Here is the treasury I made this week.  You know my love of snow (and they are predicting a white Christmas for us here – Weee!)

Can you say snowflake?  Some great photography as well as craftsmanship (and I’m so in love with that ornament wreath).

Thanks for taking a peek at the collection I’ve pulled together and for supporting the work of these artisans!

For a while I used to display Etsy treasuries on Tuesdays (for those of you unfamiliar, Etsy is like an Ebay site but for arts, crafts, supplies and vintage items and where I have my shop; they allow members to create treasuries or member-curated galleries to show off items like on Etsy).

Typically I’d show off other treasuries that I was included in, but I’m hoping to make more treasuries myself so that I can show off the talents of my fellow Etsy sellers.

With that, I’ll share the treasury I made today, titled, “I’m dreaming of a vintage-inspired Christmas!”

I would love to decorate my home in these creamy whites, burlap browns and pastel pinks and blues…not your typical Christmas decor, but I just LOVE it.  Maybe next year (we still don’t have a tree up, nor any lights or decorations…oh geez, not much time left!)

These colors inspire me…think it’s time to go paint with these in mind… ;)

Here are some lovely treasuries this week which is what I need as this cheerful girl is off to a grumpy start to her week!  (See, I do have cranky moments…it’s not always sunshine and puppies ;) – but I am trying to let go of some hang ups I’ve got going on!)

ANYWAYs…here are those lovely treasuries!

p.s. I love you guys…my readers; you bring cheer to my day!

I get to see my sister next week who I haven’t seen since November, so this treasury is oh-so-fitting.  Can’t Wait!

Usually I resign myself to only having one cup of coffee in the morning; today, I think I shall make it three!

Another “key to my heart” treasury!  I never get weary of looking at old skeleton keys!

Now this is fun and reminds me of my childhood; going back to my childhood home next week and the idea of soaking in the summer (and seeing the ocean) is already making me feel better

Peace, love and gratitude…beautiful mantras that I have to be especially mindful of practicing when I’m cranky (sure it’s easy when you’re happy, but doing it when you’re not requires a special skill in mindfulness!)

See, I’m already feeling better…

Thanks for checking out all the lovely handmade treasures people are making!  Good day everyone…

I missed doing this last week, so here are my favorite of the lovely treasuries I was included in over the past two weeks.

Oh, all these wonderful antique keys!

Great collection, great color combination…love that cafe shots (and frankly anything having to do with a coffee theme)!

Put together by a friend of mine, this is a lovely collection of bug iridescence!

Well, you know me and hearts!

And you know how I feel about gratitude and practicing it daily; this is a beautiful reminder:

I had never heard of this neuromuscular disorder before but wanted to give the creator some publicity and push awareness forward.

And that wraps it up for this week.  Thanks for taking a look at the work of all these artists and crafters!  And thanks to the creators who included me; I’m grateful.

As always, thanks for supporting handmade!

Man, is it me or are the weeks flying by?  I feel like every other day I’m saying “here are this week’s treasuries…”

So, without further ado, here they are!

What a great theme, right? I wanna cottage by the sea…

A breathtaking collection with another beautiful theme!  That snug-as-a-bug baby almost makes me pine forone…almost, but not quite ;)

This has to be one of my favorite treasuries of all time; great colors, great composition.  I love it all!

Here’s a fun, whimsical collection inspired by Alice in Wonderland…brilliant!

A lovely collection of fellow artist’s mini art cards (aka ACEO/ATC’s); I actually did a trade with the artist at the bottom left with the girl on the livewire – she’s a fantastic artist!

Thanks for checking out the lovely handmade and eco-friendly goods out there; thanks to these curators for including my goodies!

Have a great week everyone.

Oh, yes, I love my coffee!

Now this is what I call a sunny disposition!

Ooh, you know I love me some cake!  That pin-up apron is crazy cute!

Now this is a well thought out, well composed treasury…beautiful color combination!  Those poppies are just dreamy and I can’t stop looking at that eco-chic scarf (her whole shop is full of these yummy upcycled creations!)

Here are this week’s treasury picks…always some great handmade and eco-friendly goodness out there!

A lovely, soothing collection (love that lamp made of old city maps!)

Another great music-inspired treasury (that music sheet rose is just gorgeous)

Here’s a wedding inspired collection chock full of music sheets as well

Here’s an eco-friendly collection I created inspired by the warmer weather and the desire to get back to hanging my laundry on the line (I just love the unique smell of fresh air that is imparted on clothes on the line…Mmm)

And here’s another all eco-friendly one I created when things were still quite brown in my environment; luckily the green is starting to peak out!

Click on any image to see more!  Happy creative inspiration and as always, thanks for supporting and encouraging handmade and eco-friendly goods. xo
